Warehouse Operative with FLT

Role and Responsibilities

•Operate FLT: Safely operate forklifts (reach) to load, unload, move, stack, and relocate goods, pallets, and cargo within the warehouse.

•Load and Unload Vehicles: Load and unload vehicles (vans, lorries) with freight, ensuring accurate handling and secure stowage.

•Light Van Driving: Drive company vans for local collections, deliveries, or transfers of goods (no HGV required).

•Incoming Shipments: Receive, check, and process incoming shipments, ensuring goods are accurately labeled, stored, and organized in designated areas.

•Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs/logistics standards.

•Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks such as inventory checks, housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

•Space Optimization: Optimize space utilization within the warehouse, contributing to efficient workflow and organization.
