Contract Type: Temporary (Employment Business – AVTAV)

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Shifts: 5 out of 7

* Morning shifts: Start times between 05:00 – 07:00

* Afternoon shifts: Start times between 12:00 – 14:00

AVTAV is recruiting Screening Operatives on behalf of a busyairport catering and inflight services operation based in West Drayton.

This is a fast-paced operational environment where attentionto detail, security awareness, and compliance with procedures are essential.You will play a key role in ensuring people, goods, and equipment are screenedefficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct screening and security checks in line withoperational procedures

* Operate screening equipment and follow all securityprotocols

* Identify and report any irregularities or prohibited items

* Maintain accurate records and documentation

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and securityregulations

* Support operational teams to maintain efficient workflow

* Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Candidate Requirements

* Reliable, punctual, and professional

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, security-focusedenvironment

* Good communication skills

* Ability to follow strict procedures and instructions

* Capable of working independently and as part of a team

* Basic understanding of English (reading and writing)

* Previous security, screening, warehouse, aviation, orlogistics experience is desirable but not essential

Compliance Requirements

As part of the onboarding process, all applicants must bewilling to undergo:

* 5-year employment history verification

* UK criminal record check (CRC)

* Overseas criminal record check (if applicable)

* Full compliance and screening procedures

Applicants who have spent more than 6 months outside the UK may be required to provide relevant overseas criminal record checks.
