HGV Class 1 Driver – PM Trunking Role (DHL Express)
Join us in cooperation with DHL Express as an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver. This is a clean, straightforward trunking role with no manual handling, transporting goods between DHL depots.
Location: Swindon
The ideal candidate should live within a reasonable travelling distance of the Swindon Service Centre.
Salary: £19:00 - £28.50 per hour
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing Position
Schedule: 7:00PM - 8:00AM any 5 out of 7 days
- This role operates on a split shift, including a sleep period during the night
Pay Rates:
- £19.00 per hour for all hours worked between 08:00–19:00
- £21.71 per hour for all hours worked between 19:00–08:00
- £28.50 per hour for overtime
- Additional £1.15 per hour on Saturdays
- Additional £2.15 per hour on Sundays

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum of 6 minor points on licence
- Driving and written assessment required
Security Checks:
As this role is connected to a major UK airport, applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations:
- 5-year employment and unemployment history check
- UK criminal record check
- International criminal record check for periods over 6 months
- Relevant Aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (no cost to applicant)
