HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client in Leicester. This role offers clean trunking work with minimal manual handling and flexible schedules.

Location: Leicester

Salary: £19.37 – £25.75per hour

Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing Positions

All Schedules possible:

• Any 5 out of 7
• 4on 4off
• Weekends only
• Ad hoc

Pay Rates:

Mon - Fri (Days):

• Hourly Rate: £17.00

Mon - Fri (Nights):

• Hourly Rate: £19.50

Saturdays (Days/Nights):

• Hourly Rate: £20.53

Sundays (Days)

• Hourly Rate: £21.56

Sundays (Nights):

• Hourly Rate: £22.59

Requirements

• Maximum of 6 minor points on the licence
• Minimum of 2 years class 1 driving experience
• Driving & Writing Assessment

SECURITY CHECKS

As this role is connected to a major UK airport, applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations:

• 5-year employment/unemployment history check

Relevant Aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (no cost to applicant)
